It's time for Laughter

Valentines Blues

wearing top by Groceries, pants from f21, boyfriends levi jackert, heels from lolashoetique, purse from Sixhundred LA, and vintage moschino belt from Round2 LA

My boyfriend and I made sure to take the night off to explore all the new amazing shops and restaurants that have been opening it's doors in Downtown, LA.  The boutiques of DTLA have organized a brand new and exciting event called "ShopWalk" basically its a once a month event, I believe it takes place every first Thursday of the month. The boutiques open up and offer some unbeatable discounts I bought this beautiful Max Azria black wide leg silk jumper for $60!!!! at Round2 LA and a few other pieces from this store where the owner Rocco had a $5 dollar rack full of fashionable pieces from vintage picks to trendy pieces my boyfriend also bought a couple of pieces. We also hopped over to Buttons and Bows who had a 10% off deal and if you yelped them you would recieve an additional 5% off. At Button and Bows I bought a swimsuit from Reverse for $13!!!! I can't wait to show it off during Coachella!!! and yes I started shopping for Coachella!!! don't judge. lol. Anyways ShopWalk was definitly a great event to attend to, we soaked up the DTLA nightlife and went home with shopping bags full of Spring goodies.

Mint #realness

wearing vintage levi's jumper, bangles and necklace from H&M, shoes from lolashoetique
and raiders snapback I stole from my bf's closet

Decided to finally take my boyfriend's vintage throwback raiders snapback out.
I paired it with my vintage Levi's jumper and pumps from Lolashoetique. I also found this cute ankle bracelet I found in my moms jewelery closet.
I'm currently in love with the color mint! Lately I've been in a hibernating stage and I'm kind of liking it. I know in past hibernating stages of my life I get stuck but I feel as though I can finally find a balance of being present with friends and family and also taking time alone to myself. I guess growing does have it's perk! I'm working on a very special project and I'm crossing my fingers and toes that my this project becomes a reality. It's something that I've wanted since I was kid and something that I've been working on since. Wish I could tell ya'll.... but when the time comes I'll be sure to make a big deal about it. haha.

Life Should Be Organic

I found a lovely package in front of my door steps yesterday. As we all know opening a package is just as exciting as opening a Christmas present. Opening the box I pulled out this beautiful cream long sleeve tunic from the beautiful people over at Indigenous fair trade + Organic clothing. I'm huge fan and supporter of clothing that come from fair trade organizations. If your not familiarized with the fair trade movement then please read this link here: http://revolverworld.com/2010/03/what-does-‘fairtrade’-really-mean/

As soon as I pulled out my tunic I knew exactly how I was going to style it. I bought this velvet burnt orange cardigan at a local thrift store a few months back and I didn't have anything to pair with till I received this gift. To keep it simple and bold I paired the tunic with my cable knit tights from Hue, vintage leather mini purse, vintage hat I found at a flea market in New Mexico and my Jeffery Campbell heels. I couldn't resist putting this outfit together and taking photos just as the sun went down. I seriously love this tunic top, the comfort in the soft knit sweater screams FALL!!! Special THANK YOU to the awesome people at Indigenous.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!!!

Swerve On To The Next

(WildFox Couture fringe tee, levi cut off shorts)

Started working at a chic showroom located inside the New Mart Building in the fashion district in downtown LA. I'm so excited to start a new chapter in my life, it's definitely something that I've been wanting to work up to. Freelancing is definitely something I love to live by, I had such a hard time obeying the stress of a 9-6 daily routine, working long hours for little pay ahhhh so glad it's over. I'm leaving to the Magic Tradeshow on Monday with the showroom I am working for sooooo excited! I love going to the tradeshow during summer even though summer in Vegas is like walking inside a lit oven. But..... the pool parties are always fun to attend.
Until later....

“You can be betrayed in your sleep."

wearing Red Pepper Dress from Sugarlips, vintage Betsey Johnson wedges, ebay, door knock velvet chocker, and vintage fur hat.

I received a fun dress from Sugarlips this past week, I finally had the chance to were it out. I love this dress for 3 top reasons that come to my mind 1) I love how girly it is, if you know me I not much of wearing flirty dress. 2) ummmm can we talk about the color?  blues and reds are sooo pretty mixed together. 3) the texture, I love how silky it is!

My two great friends Leon Yeshua and Ann-Marie Hoang are the masterminds behind my hairstyle.  When it comes to hair color I try to be very... picky to say the least. My hair color choices come from life inspirations. My recent hair color inspiration comes from gem amethyst. I took a trip to a museum awhile back ago which showcased gems, stones and diamonds from around the world. If my memory could actually be functional at least in the long term memory department I'd be able to tell what museum it was. lol. anyways I really enjoyed seeing all these gems and all the array of colors. I was inspired by the amethyst gem and really wanted to portray the color way into my hair. I believe Ann-Marie nailed it! I loooooove my new hair color!!!!!!
