Is it the year of Pinterest ?
for other it's another social media to add to the list, but I can't help getting into it. It's pretty simple and easy to use, think of it as your canvas. If your anything like me and love making collages then this is definitely the social networking site for you. It's also a great way to organize inspirational photos.

Tune In

It's been awhile since I've been lusting over music. But since listening to Charli XCX' Nuclear Seasons it just put that tune right back in my ear. Currently obsessing over this track. It's on REPEAT!

Dreaming of Black Milk

photos from Black Milk Clothing online store

i remember window shopping etsy a while ago when I bumped into Black Milk this must have 2 years ago. Now stumbling onto their online store it gives me such pleasure to see independent brands come out of it's shell and on to the mass market. Even after having opened an online store the prices are just the same as before. I love Black Milk clothing, ahhhh the prints are always soooo good. I can't wait to get my hands on a pair of leggings.

All Mixed Up

wearing a beanie from the dollar store, army jacket from AZ goodwill, thrifted Liz Claiborne sweater dress, tights from HUE, plactic backpack from the dollar store, sunnies from Venice Beach, brass shape necklace from AZ Goodwill, thrifted shoes.

Arizona was good to me. Dinh Dinh took Yuka and I thrifting and I went kinda crazy. Shopping in AZ is pretty amazing not to mention everything was so cheap. I pretty much bought this whole outfit during my stay in Arizona. Lately I'm feeling all the mixed prints in fashion right now. Weather it be tropical wear, floral prints, or even cameo combat wear I love it! It's time to have fun with prints, fabrics and textures. Don't you think?

Magic WWD SS/2012

this past month i attend the world famous Magic Tradeshow the biggest tradeshow in fashion apparel. i got the chance to travel to Las Vegas with the See You Monday dream team. i was so excited to receive the opportunity to create the visual for the See You Monday booth. Visual Merchandising is like a past love for me, i did it professionally for a few years during retail jobs i've had in the past. i don't do it as much today but as soon as i get the chance to do any kind of visual merch i jump at it. i started the visuals a couple days before the opening day of Magic, spray painting gold crowns into bright neon bejeweled crowns, made fun 90's deadstock patches into earrings for the mannequins, and got to shop for some amazing costume jewelery and accessories. special thank you to Vally Rap from Freakcity who totally had most items we needed to complete the Visuals. Annabelle, Jean and myself came up with some brilliant work the day of the set up, like to add the flowers around the base of each display and to add windmills to showcase a spring/summer feeling. All in all the visuals were amazing we only received but the best compliments. We definitely brought some LA flavor to Las Vegas.
