Fashion ads in the 90's had so much... story behind it. When you see
fashion ads today all you see are models or more like celebrities laid
down on a bed or couch selling themselves. Super models from the 90's
not only sold themselves, but they sold the experience of what they were
trying sell. I love 90's nostalgia.

Making Rainbows
wearing vintage sweater dress, shoes from lolashoetique and leggings from Donna Karen
Aside from it being wet in LA, I've had a very gloomy week. On Friday
night I received some sad news about my uncle. Lets just say my family
knows he's in a better place now.
During times of
sadness I find myself trying to find happiness in what is in front of
me. During rainy days in LA I find pops of color that shine brighter than
usual. I had a casual lunch with my good friend Crystal who put my personal situations in perfect perspective.
I
have a huge 10 page spread photoshoot coming up for Streetwear Today
Magazine this Saturday. I'm a bit nervous because this will be my
biggest photoshoot I have ever styled, but at the same time I'm really
excited!
We heard the Church Bells
wearing Dear Abigail dress from Sugarlips paired with a Ferragamo belt
Fez and I attended Alan and Jackie's wedding this past weekend. I wore a dress from Sugarlips and shoes from Lolashoetique and Fez wore a suit from H&M paired with a vintage tie. Alan and Jackie had a beautiful wedding that they DIY'd themselves. Ummmmm can we say WOW!!! Planning a wedding is stressful enough but planning your own wedding I'm sure is super stressful! I applaud them for putting on an amazing wedding for everyone to enjoy.
CONGRATS JACKIE AND ALAN!!!
Valentines Blues
wearing top by Groceries, pants from f21, boyfriends levi jackert, heels from lolashoetique, purse from Sixhundred LA, and vintage moschino belt from Round2 LA
My boyfriend and I made sure to take the night off to explore all the new amazing shops and restaurants that have been opening it's doors in Downtown, LA. The boutiques of DTLA have organized a brand new and exciting event called "ShopWalk" basically its a once a month event, I believe it takes place every first Thursday of the month. The boutiques open up and offer some unbeatable discounts I bought this beautiful Max Azria black wide leg silk jumper for $60!!!! at Round2 LA and a few other pieces from this store where the owner Rocco had a $5 dollar rack full of fashionable pieces from vintage picks to trendy pieces my boyfriend also bought a couple of pieces. We also hopped over to Buttons and Bows who had a 10% off deal and if you yelped them you would recieve an additional 5% off. At Button and Bows I bought a swimsuit from Reverse for $13!!!! I can't wait to show it off during Coachella!!! and yes I started shopping for Coachella!!! don't judge. lol. Anyways ShopWalk was definitly a great event to attend to, we soaked up the DTLA nightlife and went home with shopping bags full of Spring goodies.
